One of our customers faces a Billing issue.
I will try to explain clearly:
External caller number: 0637218903 (A)
Customer device number: 0179355068 (B)
Forwarded number: 0757009639 (C)
Call Scenario:
A calls B which forwarded (Do not disturb) to C
Inbound call:
( C ← B ← PBX ← SBC ← IP Directions ← (External caller number A)
Outbound Call:
PBX (B/C) → SBC → Jaguar Network → External caller number A)
Billing issue at Jaguar level:
We see in From header the Initial caller number (A) instead of B
In fact, B is never billed even though he has made a forwarding and therefore initiated a call to C
Customer Request:
The customer wants A’s number displayed on C’s phone but B billed instead A number
1st Question:
Do you have a solution that will display the number of the initial caller on the final telephone but that we still bill the number of the PBX customer?
2nd Question:
Going on this point below
for Outbound Call:
PBX (B/C) → SBC → Jaguar Network → External caller number A)
If PBX doesn’t include the Diversion header in his INVITE message, how SBC can generate information about Redirecting number and OriginalCalledNumber in the CDR?
