Actually, the new software has been released, but this particular ticket was not addressed in the next build. It has been determined that this would break RFC 3263.
RFC 3263 now states that any explicit port, including 5060, now bypasses SRV and uses A/AAAA records only.
Can you try setting the proxy port to an empty value and retest?
If you still have a failure, do a simple test with the nslookup command.
